Join a “see behind the scenes tour"

If you want to visit us, you must book a tour in advance, as spaces are limited. It’s not possible just to show up and go around on your own, but the rescue animals would love to see you!

If our calendar is green then we have availability. If it is greyed out, we are fully booked for that day, so please try to book another day.

We ask for a small entrance fee of 300 baht for adults, and 200 baht for children.

Tours last approximately one hour.

Visitor Centre

We begin with a short introduction in our Visitor Centre when you can meet and cuddle with our cats and then we will show you all around our centre and explain what we do and why it is so important.

It's a dogs life

See where our dogs live, and learn all about their lives at Lanta Animal Welfare – what we feed them, where we walk them, how we train them and how we provide vital enrichment.

Healing hounds

We will visit our Intensive Care Unit and explain the typical journey of a rescue dog at Lanta Animal Welfare, from admission into our doggy hospital through to integration with other dogs and eventual adoption – rescue, rehabilitate, re-home.

Cooking for a cause

You’ll meet more of our rescue animals and get a sneak peek at Koh Lanta’s first Thai cooking school – Time For Lime. Founded in 2003, all the profits from the cooking school goes directly to Lanta Animal Welfare.

Discover how you can learn to make delicious authentic Thai dishes and classy cocktails. An amazing whole day/evening experience with allot of fun and laughter while meeting and helping our rescue animals at the same time.
