About Me
Howdy folks, I'm Ranger!You may notice that this is quite an unusual girl's name. However, I'm an unusual cat, too, and I quite like the ring of wilderness and adventure that my name has.
My friend Fatty and I are roaming freely on the LAW premises and we're always up to something!
We like to take turns sleeping and doing security guard things and since I'm mostly up at night, that means I get all the cuddles from passerby humans.
Most of the time you can find me fast asleep on the sala table where I'll gladly accept head pats and if you're lucky, even some belly rubs.
You will know when you're doing it right, because I will get a goofy, slightly comatose grin on my face and hold your hand with my paws so you keep going!
Why am I Here at Lanta Animal Welfare?
My journey began on the island of Ko Phi Phi where I was found suffering from eosinophilic skin disease. What an unpleasant name for an equally unpleasant condition! Suffering from this means that my skin is very sensitive. The vets here put a special cream on my sores, but luckily, I don't need to be on a special diet, but I might need more steroids to keep the condition in check.Honestly, I'm a cuddly, adventurous kitty that is quite low maintenance as long keep your eyes on me.
