Bert

Howdy!

My name is Bert, as in Bert and Ernie. Ernie is my brother and we are quite the double act. You might say we’re the perfect duo!

Out of the two of us, I am the quirky, energetic one who will be all over you with big wet kisses and cuddles!

I love to run with my brother, Ernie. We are like two peas in a pod! Each other’s company is what we enjoy best, but both of us are great with other dogs, too! And humans! Oh boy, humans are our favourite.

Ernie is a little more shy than me when it comes to making new friends, whereas I will try to be your best friend within five minutes.

I love playing and patrolling the garden. Exploring is one of my favourite things.

I imagine I would be a great adventure buddy! Not to boast, but I am the best lizard observer and bug hunter I know.

 Me and my brother were rescued as puppies from a government shelter on the mainland.

It was pretty bad in there. It was very loud and we didn’t get any of the love and care that we so desperately needed.
