Hi, I’m Cosie!

I arrived at LAW in April 2025, after being found on the mainland with a nasty rope wound around my neck.
From the moment I arrived, I began to find my feet.

With patience and love, I’ve come a long way, now with zoomies, enjoying my time with both visitors and volunteers – always with a smile on my face.
One of my favorite activities is going to the beach!

I must admit I’m not keen that strangers touch my head.
After I’ve been here a year and learned to trust humans again I don’t have really any other special needs. 

I was rescued from the mainland where my former owner tied me up with a  tight rope cutting into my my neck and then left me there alone to die. He also took my babies. I was so much in pain, scared, starving and the loss of my babies broke my heart.

 I’m looking for a family who will continue to care for me. If you’re looking for a, affectionate companion to share your home, I’m here, ready to offer all my love and loyalty.
