Frida

Hi my name is Frida.  I am quite a small dog compared to many of the dogs here at Lanta Animal Welfare but I have a big heart.
I am definitely a very happy doggie now; my smile is big and my tail always wagging as soon as I see someone.  I am also very friendly and it is important to be nice to all these kind people who rescued me.  I can get very excited the moment someone comes to walk me but I settle down after some cuddles and of course a little treat.

Everyone says it’s amazing that I have recovered so well from my cancer and all the trauma I’ve been through and still be so friendly to all.

The team from Lanta Animal Welfare found me on the streets on a mobile clinic.  I had huge open tumors in my private parts which was extremely painful.  I had a type of cancer called TVT and this made me feel very sick all the time.  If I wasn’t rescued I wouldn’t have lived much longer.  I am no longer in the Critical Care section so that means I get to enjoy lovely walks, cuddles and treats from everyone, but I would really, really love to have my own forever family.
