I had lost my will to live… now I’m safe, but need a friend

I was rescued from an overcrowded, underfunded government dog pound. Kept in a small cage and competing with two other dogs for what little food there was, I was shockingly skinny. Starving, scared, and all alone, I had given up on life.

It’s only thanks to the support of other animal lovers like you that I am alive today. Lanta Animal Welfare quickly freed me from my prison and got me to safety. They named me Primrose.

I’m around 11 years old, and, like the flower I’m named after, I’m blooming after my terrible ordeal. But I’m a gentle, shy girl, and slow to trust people. My traumatic past means I need time to fully recover from life in that tiny prison.
