Life Saving Treatment for Stray Animals in Koh Lanta
At Lanta Animal Welfare, we provide critical, life-saving treatment to injured and sick stray animals across Koh Lanta. Our veterinary team delivers urgent medical care, including emergency first aid, vaccinations, wound treatment, and preventative healthcare for animals in distress.
Stray cats and dogs arrive at our center suffering from a wide range of conditions From skin infections and malnutrition to serious injuries caused by road accidents or poisoning. Many of these animals require intensive care and may stay at our facility for several weeks to fully recover.
Our mission is not just to treat illness, but to prevent suffering through timely intervention and compassionate care. Each animal receives personalized treatment tailored to their condition, helping them regain strength, mobility, and quality of life.
We receive no government funding and rely entirely on generous donations from animal lovers around the world to cover the cost of veterinary supplies, medicine, and daily care. If you’d like to support life-saving treatment for sick and injured animals, please consider donating.
Tippy’s Story
We don’t what happened Tippy in life but he was rescued by our mobile outreach. Totally malnourished and with a skin disease that’s inflamed and itches nonstop. We didn’t know if he would make it but Tippy has an amazing inner strength that got him through the unimaginable horrors of his first year.
Sweet Tippy is slowly getting better but he has a long road of medical care ahead of him. He has an old joint fracture which has fused at an abnormal angle, and he is unable to use his leg. Tippy is scheduled to amputate his broken leg – this will help his mobility a lot!
Tippy is alive today because of his strong spirit and because our fantastic supporters make his treatment possible. You can help Tippy and other rescue animals like him heal from their grueling injuries and illnesses. With you by his side, Tippy will heal physically and emotionally.
