WHAT TO DO IF YOU FIND A STRAY KITTEN ON KOH LANTA

Koh Lanta has a large stray cat population and hence, many kittens are born each year.  We are

only a small centre and unfortunately cannot take care of every fit and healthy kitten.  This is why

sterilisation is so vital to try to reduce this overpopulation, and the number of unwanted young

animals.

If you find a fit and healthy kitten please leave it where it is, provided it is safe to do so.  Often the

mother will return to care for it.  If the kitten is at your resort, you can let the resort workers know

and they may be able to feed and take care of the kitten.

We can sterilise cats from 2 months old so if you find any cats or kittens you think need to be

sterilised, please email info@lantaanimalwelfare.com for more information on how you can help.

Cats that have already been sterilised will have small tattoo marks on the inside of their ear flap

and may have the tip of their right ear missing so we can identify them from a distance.
