The Lanta Animal Welfare Sponsor Program provides you with the opportunity to help support the ongoing needs of our rescue animals, so they can live a happy, healthy life until they are able to find their own forever home.

Our Sponsor program allows ANYONE to help from ANYWHERE in the world to provide support for the continuing care of the rescue animals.

With a monthly donation of just $30 USD, you can change the lives of cats and dogs in desperate need. You will receive email updates every 3 months about your rescue animal, including photos and/or a video.

Your monthly donation will help us continue saving animals rescued from abuse, abandonment, sickness or injury.

Why Sponsor an Animal Instead of Adopting?

Not everyone is able to adopt an animal from Thailand—but that doesn’t mean you can’t make a life-changing impact. When you sponsor an animal through Lanta Animal Welfare, you’re helping provide daily care, veterinary treatment, and emotional support to animals who have already endured trauma, neglect, or injury. Sponsorship helps us prepare these animals for adoption, and in some cases, supports them for life if they’re not able to find a forever home.

What is my donation used for?

Your gift of sponsorship is used to help your sponsored cat/dog and all the other animals Lanta Animal Welfare cares for. Your generosity provides:

• Veterinary Care

What information will I receive about my sponsor dog or cat?

Upon sponsoring a dog or cat, you will receive a sponsorship confirmation with a photograph of your chosen dog or cat. Lanta Animal Welfare encourages you to print and display your photograph. This is a great way to raise awareness about the plight of street dogs and cats in Thailand. You will also receive updates about your sponsored dog or cat throughout the year.

What about the dogs and cats who have no sponsor?

At Lanta Animal Welfare, all animals in our care receive attention equally – whether sponsored or not. Your gift is used to help all the dogs and cats, including the one you have sponsored.

Will I be my dog or cat’s only sponsor?

With hundreds of animals at our shelter, a gift of sponsorship is used to help all of them, including the dog/cat you have chosen to sponsor. In order to provide adequate care for all the animals, Lanta Animal Welfare allows a dog/cat to be sponsored by more than one person.
