Vet/Vet Nurse Volunteer Application

Lanta Animal Welfare and many animal rescue groups in Thailand need flight volunteers for animals that have been adopted to the UK, so if you haven’t booked your return flightyet please contact our Adoptions Manager at adoption@lantaanimalwelfare.comGood airlines used to transport the animals to Europe are: SAS, KLM, Aeroflot, Condor, Thai airways, Finnair, Austrian Air, Lufthansa, Air France from Phuket to Brussels or Amsterdam, then animals can go onwards by train and boat from these two cities to the UK. We will help with all the practicalities. If possible, please contact us before you book your return flight. You would be helping tremendously by getting homeless animals to their new forever homes!

    IMPORTANT: Before you apply for a Volunteer Vet or Vet Nurse placement, we would like to make you aware that very occasionally, our volunteer vets and vet nurses may be asked to help out with General Volunteer duties. This is a rare occurrence but can happen if people leave earlier than expected or simply do not show up and we suddenly end up very short of General Volunteers. By applying, you are consenting to help where you are needed, when you are needed. Thank you.
