Hello, I’m Halu! I’m an adorable and friendly boy, and I just can’t wait to meet you. I get along with everyone—people, other dogs, and especially children. I’m affectionate, gentle, and love being around my human friends, especially if there are belly rubs involved. If you’re looking for a loving companion who’s great with kids, I might just be the perfect fit for your family. I am a tri-paw doggie, which means I have three legs, but that doesn’t stop me and I bet you’ll fall in love with my puppy dog eyes before you notice that!

Despite my leg injury and subsequent amputation, I’m a happy, full-of-life boy who loves to be surrounded by love. Although I may walk a little differently than other dogs, it doesn’t hold me back from being the loving, playful companion I am. I’m great with people of all ages, including children, and I get along wonderfully with other dogs. I promise I’ll always bring joy and affection into your home.

I was rescued from the mainland after being found with a very badly injured right front leg. I had to have my leg amputated as it was so badly damaged, but I have recovered well and get around so much more comfortably and easily. I’m ready to find a family who will love me just the way I am.
