Hi, I’m Oatmeal! I’m a small but brave young girl and I’m on my journey from being a fearful puppy to becoming so much more confident with humans. Every day I’m improving. I’ve come such a long way already! I can now approach humans I know, I won’t mind a cuddle and even give some gentle kisses. When it comes to other doggies, I’m all in for fun and play especially the ones that are small sized like me. Playing helps me forget all the bad things I’ve been through.

I’m now looking for a loving home where I can continue to work on my confidence. I may need a little extra time to open up as I am very timid and nervous, but I promise, with the right family, I’ll thrive.

I would prefer a gentle and confident doggie friend to be kind of a support dog for me as well as a playmate. Could you help me with that?

I was found stuck in a fishing net, I had been there so long that the net had become embedded into my skin. I was so scared and in so much pain. I’m all healed up and healthy now, but the scars still tell the trauma I’ve been through. Please be patient with me, I am being very brave.
