Sweet

Hi my name is Sweet; sweet by name and sweet by nature.  I think I am very pretty and very well behaved for all the lovely people here who take such good care of me every day.  I feel very lucky the Mobile Sterilization Team brought me back with them from See Khao Temple in Trang Province.

I seriously have the most unique way of walking of all the dogs here at Lanta Animal Welfare.  I would say I bunny hop especially when I am being offered yummy chicken as a treat.  My back legs don’t work the way they should but I think that makes me all the more special.  My vet says with time I will walk much better, and I already have made big improvements. I’ve been paired up with Walter the wheel chair boy. We get along just great and since his back legs don’t work that well, he won’t jump on my back.

The team from Lanta Animal Welfare found me at a temple. The monks were taking care of me but then a car hit me and I could no longer walk.  The LAW team decided to bring me back with them.  Now with the help of everyone here, I am learning how to use my back legs again.
